Una Lorenzen (1981) is an independent filmmaker from Reykjavík, Iceland. In 2009 she received her MFA in experimental animation from CalArts, California. Besides making music-videos and short-films Una likes using the medium of animation as an educational tool. She has created animations for numerous documentaries and recently completed a group of animated shorts for Disney Educational Productions. Una´s work has traveled across Europe, USA and Asia. Festivals include Tribeca Underground in New York, Cannes in France, Karlovy Vary in Prague and Tricky Women in Vienna. Currently Una lives and works in Brooklyn.
